Kerala Plus Two SAY Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025

To sit for the Kerala Plus Two Supplementary Exam 2025, you are required to follow the following eligibility criteria put forward by DHSE Kerala:

• You can only sit for the SAY or improvement exam if you have registered for the corresponding second-year higher secondary examination.
• You are allowed to sit for the SAY or improvement exams based on the number of marks that you have achieved in the initial board exams.
• Candidates who have attained scores in CE, PE, and TE, but failed to attaina  D+ or above grade in a subject are eligible to register for the TE only of that subject.
• Candidates who attained CE and PE scores but were absent for the TE of a subject are eligible to register for the TE only of that subject.
• Candidates with CE and TE scores at the second year higher secondary examination, but were absent for PE are eligible to register for the PE only of such subjects provided, they have obtained separate minimum scores for the TE of the subjects concerned.
• Even the regular students who have got more than minimum passing marks in the initial exams but want to improve their score can apply for the SAY/ improvement exam.
• You cannot appear for the SAY examination and Improvement examination at the same time.

Kerala Plus Two SAY Exam Registration Procedure 2025

The following steps will be followed by the authorities to register students for the Kerala Plus Two Supplementary Exam 2025:

• The Principal of the school shall register the candidates at their center for SAY/Improvement Examination 2025 online through iExaMS.
• The concerned authorities must download the hall ticket of the students from the respective website and distribute the same to the candidates at least three days before the commencement of the Examination.
• After receiving the hall tickets, you must scrutinize the details mentioned in it.
• The Principals shall inform the Name and Address of the Examination Centres of the SAY/Improvement candidates.
• The application form is common to all candidates whether open school or regular.
• The Principals of the parent school shall receive the applications with connected documents, consolidate the data, prepare the nominal roll and question paper statement of the candidates attending the examination, and upload the details through the Department Portal within the time limit specified.
• A hard copy of the nominal roll and Question Paper statement prepared by the parent school shall be given to the Chief Superintendent of the SAY/Improvement Exam Centre before the last date fixed for the same.

Kerala Plus Two SAY Exam Form Guidelines 2025

Make sure to follow the following guidelines before registering for the SAY exam:

• The application fee for the Kerala Plus Two Supplementary Exam is to be submitted to the respective principals for both first and second-year higher secondary examinations.
• Regular SCOLE Kerala candidates shall submit the application and fee to the principals of the examination center allotted to them.
• Students must submit their application along with the application fee to the principals of the exam centers in which they took the main exams.
• The principals are responsible for registering the students online through the official DHSE portal.
• No examination fee shall be collected for the first appearance from school-going students eligible for fee concession.
• The Principal of the school shall get the examination fee of such students reimbursed from the departments concerned and remit to the head of the account concerned.
• You can either collect your application form from the respective school offices or you can download it in a PDF format from the official website at dhsekerala.gov.in.
• Students must appear for the exams in the respective exam centers only. No new changes will be tolerated in the exam center at any request.
• Students should not send applications directly to the Directorate.
• Along with the application, you are required to paste a passport-size photograph which will be attested by the concerned school principal.
• Scole Kerala candidates shall submit their applications for higher secondary examinations in the prescribed form along with the Private Registration Memo/Attested copy of identity card issued by Scole Kerala, remitting the prescribed fees to the Principal of the School which is assigned as their Examination center by the Scole Kerala authorities.
• All Scole Kerala candidates registering for the Second Year Higher Secondary Examination shall submit a self-attested copy of the score sheet of the First Year Higher Secondary Examination.
• School-going candidates shall register for the Higher Secondary Examination only for the subjects sanctioned to the school.
• Candidates who have not undergone Continuous Evaluation will not be allowed to appear for the Higher Secondary Examination even if they register for the same.
• The prescribed fee for the Examination shall be remitted to the School before the last date. The School Principal shall remit the same to the treasury in time and obtain the remittance challan. The amount once remitted as Examination fees will not be refunded or adjusted against the fee for a subsequent Examination on any account
