JEE Mains Percentile January 2023: National Testing Agency (NTA) is preparing to release the results for JEE Main 2023 January session exam. Candidates will be notified of the results based on their percentile scores. Scores based on percentiles are essentially normalized marks, not actual ones. During normalization, difficulty levels are compared across multiple shifts or days to eliminate potential parity. According to NTA, the normalization process is explained in detail for the purpose of calculating the percentile score. As a result, the authorities will convert the raw scores into percentile scores.

Not just raw marks or percentage scores, but also percentile scores compare applicant performance with all other test takers. It measures the number of candidates who achieved a certain score during JEE Mains. Prior to the official announcement of JEE Main results, candidates should familiarize themselves with the normalization process.
