Magadh University (MU) Bihar is going to conduct its 21st convocation on 10th of March, 2016. The last date of application for attending the convocation has been changed to 1st March 2016, from 25th February, 2016 for the pupils who have passed their post-graduate exams in the session 2012-2014 and did their Ph. D in between January 2014 and December 2014.
Magadh University had been established in the year 1962 by Mr. Satyendra Narayan Sinha who was an educationist and the Education Minister of state of Bihar in that year. Mr. K. K. Dutta, who was a historian, was the founder VC. Magadh University (MU) started functioning from 2nd of March 1962 with 2 constituent colleges and 32
affiliated
colleges along with 7 post-graduate departments.
