JEE Main 2023 marks scored by the candidates will help them to calculate the percentile gained in the exam. Candidates who will attain the top scores in all three subjects will be assigned the 100 percentile.

JEE Main 2023 exam session 1 has concluded and candidates must be concerned about their percentile. National Testing Agency will release the JEE Main 2023 Result on their official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. With the help of the marks scored by the candidates, they will be able to calculate the percentile gained by them. Candidates who will attain the top scores in all three subjects will be assigned the 100 percentile. For each candidate, the percentile will be calculated on a scale of 100 to 0. To avoid ties between candidates who appeared for JEE Main, the percentile score is calculated to seven decimal places. JEE Main January 2023: What is Percentile Score?

All those who take the exam are provided with percentile scores based on their relative performance. Each session of examinees is graded from 100 to 0 based on their marks. Percentile scores are defined as the percentage of candidates who have scored EQUAL TO or BELOW (same or lower raw scores) than a particular percentile in that examination. As a result, the topper (highest score) of each session will have the same percentile of 100. Additionally, percentiles are calculated for the marks obtained between the highest and lowest scores.
