An educational trip was organized at the Bihar College of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. The aim of the educational trip was to make the All India Institute of Medical Sciences – Patna, 2014 batch visit the BCPO campus.
A total of 16 students visited the campus. The students tried to touch every aspect of the physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
The students of AIIMS Patna took lectures at the college and the lectures were delivered by the faculty of the Bihar College of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
The 16 students were given both practical and theoretical training by the lecturers of the college. The educational trip comprised of live demonstrations. The demonstrations adhered to the habilitation and rehabilitation.
The lectures and the trainings were 3 hours long. The trip started from 9 am and ended at 12 noon, as informed to CollegeDekho by Dr A.K Jaiswal, the academic head of the Bihar College of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy – Patna.
Dr Jaiswal also informed to CollegeDekho that the college was originally started as the School of Physiotherapy and a constituent of Patna University (PU) in the early 1960’s.
Later the college was turned into a fully fledged college and was shifted to its current campus in Kankarbagh Patna in the year 1998.
