The Government of Karnataka is likely to announce an off in all schools up to Class 12th on 19 October due to rough weather. A Yellow Alert has been issued in districts including Bellary, Devangere, Chitradurga, and Tumkur for October 18. However, the warning is expected to be extended for the next day as well.

The government and the district authorities of Bangalore have not released any notice regarding a tentative holiday for 19 October. However, it all depends on the weather forecast. Currently, the Meteorological Centre, Bengaluru has not announced any Yellow or Red alerts for any of the districts.
Until then, districts like Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Chitradurga, Tumkur, Chikballapur, Kolar, Dakshin Kannada, Uttar Kannada, and Dharwad are kept on watch for thorough monitoring. Considering the current weather situation, it is likely that the region around Bengaluru may face heavy storms in the next 24 hours. Therefore, chances are high that the government authority can announce a holiday in schools in Bangalore for October 19.
