There are six major subjects in Bihar B.Ed CET exam, of which one is elective based on the degree you want to pursue. Thus, each candidate must opt for five subjects which are as follows. Their respective weightages are also given.

• General English Comprehension (for B.Ed. Programme) – 15 questions
• General Sanskrit Comprehension (for Shiksha Shastri Programme) – 15 questions
• General Hindi
• Logical & Analytical Reasoning – 25 questions
• General Awareness – 40 questions
• Teaching-Learning Environment in School – 25 questions
