The Honourable Sir Dominic Asquith KCMG, who is the British High Commissioner to the Republic of India, visited the Hyderabad campus of the Indian School of Business (ISB) . he paid a visit to the business school and interacted with the Dean of ISB, Professor Rajendra Srivastava and with the other staff and faculty members as well.
Sir Dominic Asquith also addressed the present PGP (Post Graduate Programme) class of 2020 and its students and talked about several aspects of economic diplomacy that are related to the partnership of the United Kingdom and India.

The Honourable Sir Dominic said that the spectrum of all the common interests that lie between India and Britain are massive and it can be explored in various ways and at numerous levels. The High Commissioner was accompanied by some other officials as well. The British Deputy High Commissioner, Hyderabad, Andrew Fleming, accompanied Sir Dominic. His team also attended to the honourable guest.
The Honourable Sir Dominic Anthony Gerard Asquith KCMG is a reputed British career diplomat and also the former Ambassador to Egypt, Iraq, and Libya. Currently, he is the British High Commissioner to India. Asquith had joined HM Diplomatic Service in the year 1983 and he served at Muscat, Damascus, Washington D.C., Riyadh, and Buenos Aires before he was appointed the Deputy Head of Mission in Iraq in the year 2004.
After that, he was appointed the Director of the Iraq Directorate at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and served from 2004 to 2006. Asquith was the Ambassador to Iraq from 2006 to 2007, following which, he was the Ambassador to Egypt from 2007 to 2011, and the Ambassador to Libya in 2011-2012.
