The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta conducted the CAT 2011 exam for aspirants looking to get into IIMs and other reputed self-financing B-Schools of India. For the first time, the CAT question paper had 2 sections instead of 3.
A total of 60 questions were asked in this year’s CAT paper.
The maximum time allocated for answering all the questions was 2 hours and 40 minutes.
The questions were accompanied by 4 possible responses or options.
Each question carried 3 marks.
For every wrong response, 1 mark will be deducted.
The candidates were not allowed to skip to the second section of the paper before the completion of the 70-minute mark.
