For general category students, a minimum qualifying score of 90 percentile is required to be eligible for the WAT and PI rounds of the MBA program. For candidates belonging to the NC-OBC category, the required percentile is slightly lower at 82. CAT 2024 IIM Lucknow Shortlisting Criteria: Final Selection

In the final score calculation, the weightage assigned to the Written Ability Test (WAT) and the Personal Interviews (PI) is significantly higher than that of the CAT score. Specifically, the CAT score contributes between 30  points to the overall assessment, whereas the combined weightage for the WAT and PI is set at a substantial 50 points.

Additionally, candidates must meet a minimum threshold in their Personal Interviews, requiring at least 12 out of 40 marks to pass. This emphasis underscores the importance of both the WAT and PI in the evaluation process.
