CBSE 12th Result 2022 Weightage Distribution

CBSE 12th result 2022: While the result for all streams has been released on June 22, many students have been wondering: How CBSE 12th Result 2022 was calculated? What is the weightage given to each term? For the first time in 2022, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the examination in two terms instead of its regular single term because of the pandemic.

Because the Term 1 examination was conducted as objective-only, lesser weightage has been given to it in contrast to the theory-only Term 2 examination. Unlike ICSE Board’s 50-50 weightage, 30% weightage has been given to Term 1 while 70% weightage has been given to Term 2 . However, this weightage distribution is only for the actual marks scored by the student in the papers. Full weightage for internal marks for both terms has been awarded.
