CBSE Issues Clarification over Fake Post of Exam Cancellation: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has clarified fake notice being circulated on the internet regarding the cancellation of some of CBSE Board Exams 2024. The fake CBSE circular stated that the board had decided to postpone some of the examinations of the students due to the ongoing farmers' protests around Delhi. However, the news turned out to be fake and the board told the students to follow the current date sheet only. The board has clarified this confusion through its official X handle (formerly, Twitter) on the website.
CBSE Board Exams 2024 Not Postponed: Board Issues Clarification
As per the fake circular that looks legitimate at first glance, the CBSE seems to acknowledge the problems being faced by the students in reaching their respective CBSE Board exam 2024 test centres, and the examinations scheduled on these days will be postponed. The fake notice further stated ‘As per the Government guidelines Board Exams of class XII has been postponed, as soon as you are informed of new dates. Looking into the problem, CBSE has decided to postpone the dates of the examination centre’.

However, CBSE has asked the students to stay cautious against such fake notices. In the brief post, the board said, ‘Beware! The following letter under circulation is FAKE and misleading. The board has not taken any such decision’ with the image of the fake circular on its social media handle.
Moreover, the board has asked the students to reach their exam centres by other means of transport including Delhi Metro. CBSE has started the Class 12 and 10 examinations from February 15 as per the announced schedule. Also, the future examinations will be conducted according to the timetable.
