Central University of South Bihar to Offer Seven New Courses

Central University of South Bihar will offer seven new courses from the academic session 2020- 21. The University PRO, Mudassir Alam said before the introduction of new courses, the university offered 45 courses that included 3 UG courses, 22 PG courses and 20 PhD programmes.

The new courses added include M.P.Ed (Master of Physical Education) , Geography, Geology M.Pharm Pharmaceuticals, M.Pharm Pharmacology. At the PhD level, the courses are added under commerce and history stream. Now, the Central University of South Bihar will offer 52 courses which include 22 PhD programmes.

As per the information released by university PRO, The university will accept applications for UG, PG and PhD level admission for 1777 seats that includes 276 UG courses,1171 POG courses and 330 PhD courses.

According to the notice issued by Rashmi Tripathi, the University's Controller of Exams, the admission for various courses will be accepted through university level entrance test. 14 Central and 4 State universities will also accept admission through a combined admission test.UG and PG level entrance test will be conducted in pen-paper mode while the PhD level entrance test will be conducted in online mode.

About Central University of South Bihar

Central University of South Bihar was founded in 2009 and its campus is located in Panchanpur village, which is 15 km away from the divisional head. It was earlier situated in Gaya and Patna at rented buildings. The university has a total of 151 Faculty members including 21 Professors and 24 Associate Professors.

The university also provides accommodation facilities for 800 students that include 300 girl students.
