CLAT Second Merit List 2024 : The consortium released the CLAT second merit list 2024 today, January 8, 2024. Candidates who applied for Round 2 can check out the list at consortiumofnlus.ac.in by accessing the direct link to the same here. After clicking on the link, the names of all participating colleges for the 5-year integrated law programme and LLM programme will show up. Candidates need to click on the link of their preferred college to view and download the second provisional list of that specific college in a PDF format. The selection list includes the names of all participating colleges and the seats that have been assigned based on their remaining seat availability and the applicant’s merit.

What after CLAT Second Merit List 2024 is released?

After CLAT second merit list 2024 is released, candidates need to confirm their seats by paying a seat acceptance fee. Before that, candidates will be required to choose between three options - Freeze, Float, or Exit. Check out the Instructions to be followed after CLAT Seat Allotment 2024 .

• Freeze after CLAT Allotment 2024 : The freeze option means that the candidate is satisfied with the seat, and would like to confirm it without opting for any upgrade.
• Float after CLAT Allotment 2024 : The float option means that the candidate is not satisfied with the seat, and would like to look for upgradation but keep this seat reserved as well.
• Exit: The exit option means that the candidate is not satisfied with the seat, and would like to give up on the seat and quit the counselling process.

In the case of the first two options, candidates will have to pay the confirmation fee to lock their seats. The seat confirmation fee is Rs. 20,000/-. Those who opted for upgradation in Round 1 and have already paid the seat confirmation fee, need not pay again. The last date for seat acceptance is January 12.

The Consortium of NLUs published the CLAT First merit list 2024 on December 26, 2023, and the online reporting procedure for the same has also concluded.
