CTET 28 December 2022 Paper Analysis: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) commences today, December 28. The exam is being conducted online in two shifts. CTET 2022 Paper 1 is being conducted in Shift 1 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. As per the CTET 2022 exam pattern, candidates opting for Paper 1 are required to attempt a total of 150 MCQ-type questions from 5 different sections – Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Each question carries 1 mark and the total duration of the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The overall difficulty level of CTET Paper 1 on Day 1 was easy to moderate.
Questions in CDP were based on Critical Thinking, NCF (2005), RTE (2009), NEP (2020), Noam Chomsky, Piaget, Kohlberg, Vygotsky, Gardner, Growth & Development, and Progressive Education.
The main topics asked in EVS included Madhubani Paintings, Vitamin C, Birds (Peacock), Animals (Tiger, Elephants), Social Insects, National Parks (Matching Pairs), Odd & Even Types of Houses etc.
The Pedagogy part in EVS was easy.
As per students, the Environmental Studies portion was of moderate level. The remaining sections were relatively easy to attempt.
Most of the questions were repeated from previous year's CTET paper.
The English Language paper was of moderate level.
the passage topic in Reading Comprehension was based on the Taj Mahal. Other topics included Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), Stephen Krashen's Comprehensible Input, and Pedagogy.
Mathematics questions were asked from Triangle (Ratio of Angles), Van Hiele's Model of Geometric Thinking, LCM, Natural Numbers, Conversion, Pedagogy, Prime & Composite Numbers, Time, Area etc.
None of the questions were asked out of the CTET 2022 syllabus. There was no major change in the paper pattern.
