CTET 2021 Paper 1 exam has been conducted on 29th December 2021, in the morning session. The exam has been conducted for one and a half-hour. The sections that were included in Paper 1 were Language, Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics, and EVS. There were 30 questions in each section and the maximum mark for the paper was 150.

- The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate.
- The EVS section was moderate. All of the questions were concept-based.
- In EVS, questions were asked from map, direction, states, rivers, etc.
- The Maths section was easy to moderate. Questions were asked from Van Hiele, Time, Fraction, Volume, Money, etc.
- The CDP section was also easy to moderate. Questions were asked from Kohlberg, ZPD, NEP, NCF, etc.
- 4 questions in CDP were asked from National Education Policy.
- As per the students, the language paper was easy. Questions were asked from the prefix, synonyms, antonyms, etc.
