CTET 2021 Paper 1 exam has been conducted on 3rd January 2022, in the morning session. The exam was conducted for one and a half-hour. The sections that were included in Paper 1 were Language, Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics, and EVS. There were 30 questions in each section and the maximum mark for the paper was 150.

Some of the major highlights of CTET 3rd January 2022 Paper 1 analysis are as follows:
- The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate.
- The EVS paper was easy. The questions were asked from snakes, animals, etc.
- The CDP paper was easy to moderate. Questions were asked from Jean Piaget, Vygotsky, ZPD, Sequence, inclusive & progressive education, etc.
- There were 2 questions from Jean Piaget's stages.
- The language paper was moderate. Questions were asked from semantics, structure, meaning, etc.
- In English, there were 2 passages. One of the passages was long for 10 marks and the other was medium length passage for 5 marks.
- There were story-based passages and direct questions were asked. Some grammar-based questions were also asked from the passage.
- The Mathematics paper was easy to moderate. Questions were asked from Clock, Distance, Time, Fraction, Factors, etc.
