Tamil Nadu based Dr. MGR Medical University has initiated the admission procedure for six new courses in the Department of Epidemiology for the upcoming session. The varsity is already running master level courses (M.Sc) like public health, biostatistics and epidemiology. Apart from that, it also offers Ph.D. courses in epidemiology community, public health & biostatistics, medicine. Now, the varsity has introduced two more PG Diploma courses in health promotion, education & public health journalism.
Eligibility Criteria for PG Diploma Courses at Dr. MGR Medical University:
The students who wish to pursue the Post Graduate Diploma courses at the Dr. MGR University in Tamil Nadu should have a valid bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or a master's degree in arts, science, nursing or education field recognized by any of the Indian universities. A candidate with a bachelor's degree in science, arts, education or nursing field along with at least two years of community work/service in the field of health or family planning programme are also eligible to apply.

Dr. MGR Medical University Allied Health Courses Application Fee and Process
Interested applicants can visit the official website of the university to apply for the postgraduate diploma in the above-mentioned allied health courses. The application fee is Rs. 100. Along with the application form, aspirants must also attach the xerox copies of the following documents:
- Degree certificate
- Transfer certificate
- Migration certificate
Please note that the last date to apply is 15th October 2018.
