The ECE Department of Tirumala Engineering College organized faculty development program for its faculty members on 21 st and 22-June-2016. The program was organized in collaboration with Coral Technologies, Bangalore. Mr. Sararth and Mr. Rafi of the company acted as resources persons and trained the faculty on ‘ASIC Design Flow’.
The faculty development program was inaugurated by Correspondent of the college, R Satyanarayana by lightening the lamp. Later he mentioned that the training was being conducted to enlighten the faculty on various skills and themes which will enable them to teach the students in an effective way.
On the first day, the faculty members were trained in ‘Power Analysis’ , ‘ Synthesis’ and ‘Simulation’. Later workshop was organized and the faculty members were taught on the above themes. On the second day the training was given in ‘Mentor Graphics Tools’ . They explained that the knowledge and proficiency in these themes will enable the students in securing jobs in the companies like Intel, Samsung and Motorola. A total number of 40 faculty members participated in the workshop.
The resource persons were felicitated by the college management and faculty members. Certificates were given by the principal of the college to all the faculty members. They thanked the college management for organizing this beneficial program.
