HCL Conducts Placement Drive at STEC

Reputed company HCL conducted placement drive at Sai Tirumala Engineering College on 21-May-2016. The placement drive was conducted for final year B.Tech and M.Tech students of the college. The company officials were welcomed in a grand manner by the college management and students. The placement drive was inaugurated by college director, B. Showri Raju. The company officials gave introduction about the role and responsibilities and detailed the process on interview.

Three rounds of interview were conducted which included a preliminary aptitude test, group discussion and personal interview. The placement drive received a grand response as a total number of 156 students attended the interviews. Out of them 11 students got selected in the personal interview. The company officials gave the offer letters and congratulated the students. The students are offered annual package of Rs.3,500,000.

College correspondent, B. Showri Raju said, “Around 180 students secured jobs in the campus placements conducted in the academic year 2015-2016. The college has excellent faculty and infrastructure. The college has been consistently working to assure maximum placements. The college has a skills development center where students are trained in soft skills. The college gives a lot of scope for Spoken English”.

The students were congratulated by college principal and faculty members. Students thanked the college management and faculty for being supportive.
