IIM Kashipur Completes 100% Placements
IIM Kashipur Placements Report 2023:
On January 10, 2023, the MBA and MBA (Analytics) batch of 2021-23 at IIM Kashipur completed their final placement season, breaking the record for the fastest closing time and setting a new high for the top package of INR 37 LPA. The batch's average CTC for 2021-2023 experienced YoY growth of 19% at INR 18.11 LPA while the median CTC increased by 16% YoY to INR 17.2 LPA. The top 10%, 20%, and 30% of the batch earned average CTCs of INR 28.5 LPA, INR 25.9 LPA, and INR 24.5 LPA, respectively with significant YoY growth rates.
IIM Kashipur also achieved another milestone when both its summer and final placement reports were independently audited in accordance with IPRS guidelines. It is one of the few IIMs that prepares and reports placement data according to IPRS. Prof. Utkarsh, Chairperson of Placements and Corporate Relations at IIM Kashipur expressed the institute's commitment to forging robust corporate relationships and offering promising job prospects for students. This year, over 120 organizations actively participated and extended a total of 320+ offers to the MBA and MBA (Analytics) batch of 2021-23. Prof. Utkarsh extended his heartfelt appreciation to all the corporate organizations and recruitment partners for their contributions to this success story and looked forward to future productive synergies.
The recruitment drive garnered the participation of a multitude of new esteemed organizations such as HashiCorp, EXL Analytics, Royal Bank of Scotland, Nomura, and MTR Group, alongside a group of other recruiters. The IT and BSFI sectors emerged as prominent recruiters. Overall, more than 200 organizations took part in the summer and final placement with over 50 new organizations recruiting from IIM Kashipur this year.
The summer recruitment drive at IIM Kashipur followed a similar trend to the final placements. On March 28th, 2023, the Summer Placement Season for batch 2022-24 drew to a close. This season saw the addition of new empanelled recruiters like GSK, Maersk, Tiger Analytics, TATA Capital, HSBC, IOCL, and more, along with long-term recruiting partners such as ICICI Bank, Shree Malani Foams, OfBusiness, PUMA, Reserve Bank of India, and many others that aided in the successful completion of the summer drive.
The students of IIM Kashipur made impressive strides in enhancing their corporate presence, securing 1 National Winner award, 8 National Finalists, and 4 National Semi-Finalists positions in various corporate and B School competitions.
