IIT Madras has released the application form for HSEE 2022 Exam today (March 9, 2022) and the online registration link is activated.Candidates can visit the official website link https://hsee.iitm.ac.in/online/index.php and complete the registration process. The HSEE 2022 Exam is going to be conducted on June 12, 2022.

The last date for the online application submission is April 27, 2022. The application status will be available in the website from May 9.

HSEE 2022 Application Procedure

Application for HSEE 2022 is only via online mode. The process is given below. Candidate needs have to a computer with Internet connection and a printer.

  • Registration: Log on to the site https://hsee.iitm.ac.in. Select from the menu “Apply Online” and follow the instructions that appears. Enter all the information as per the instructions and after that the site will ask to save the data.

  • Upload Photograph/Signatures/Supporting Documents (Scanned): The images of the scanned photograph, signature, and the documents must be in jpg/jpeg format. The photograph must be between the size 15 kb- 40 kb and the dimension of 3.5 cm x 4.5cm. The signature image size must be between 10 kb -30 kb and the dimension of 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.  After successfully entering the data, check it thoroughly and then click the 'finalize' button. Please note that the details cannot be edited after this process.

  • Examination Fee: Candidates will have to pay the examination fees as applicable through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/Indian Bank challan. The examination fee for ST, SC, PwD candidates is Rs. 1200/- and for all other general candidates the fee is Rs. 2400/-.

  • Payment by Indian Bank e-challan: Candidates can pay through Indian Bank challan in offline mode. They can visit any branch of the Indian Bank along with a printed challan to pay the fee.

  • Payment by Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card: Candidates can also make the payment by Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card. After successful payment, the acknowledgement page can be printed.

HSEE 2022 Application Form Fill up Instructions

Candidates must go through the guidelines thoroughly before filling the IIT Madras HSEE 2022 application form. The form must be completely filled without any gaps. Applications with incomplete or incorrect information will be rejected.

  • Name of the Candidate : Candidates must enter the name in capital letters as mentioned in the High School (10th standard) certificate. They must leave one blank box between the words of the name. If the name has multiple initials, leave one blank after each Do not put a 'dot(.)' sign after the initials.

  • Name of Parent/Guardian: Candidates have to enter the full name of their father/mother or guardian exactly as in their 10th class or equivalent certificate.

  • Category: Candidates must select the applicable category GE, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC or ST from the drop-down menu. Category once selected cannot be changed at a later date after the form submission. If a candidate fails to produce the category certificate (wherever applicable), he/she will be automatically considered as a general category (GE) candidate.

  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD): Candidates will have to select YES from the drop-down menu, if they have disablities. If not then select NO.

  • Gender: Choose the appropriate from the drop-down menu.

  • Nationality: Choose the appropriate from the drop-down menu.

  • Date of Birth: Select the date, month and year of the birth as per the English Calendar and as recorded in the 10th class Certificate.

  • Choice of City of Examination: Select the name of the city from the given list as applicable. Though candidates can enter names of two different cities, the primary attempt will be made to allot the centre of their first choice. Under extreme conditions, candidates might get the allottment of the centre/city of their second choice.

  • Photograph: Candidates must upload a recent, good quality, colour photograph (not more than two months old) with light or white background.

  • Signature: As far as signature is concerned, a clear and good quality image must be uploaded.

  • Supporting Documents: Candidates must upload a clear and good quality image of supporting documents (GEN-EWS Declaration / OBC-NCL Declaration / SC / ST / PwD / Dyslexia Certificate).

HSEE 2022 is conducted by IIT Madras to provide admission to a five-year integrated M.A. course ombining two streams, which are English Studies and Development Studies.
