The Central Seat Allocation Board started the CSAB registration on October 26, 2022, in online mode. Interested candidates can apply for the CSAB 2022 counselling on or before October 28, 2022, and they should visit the official website- csab.nic.in for the same. After that, the candidate, who will complete the registration successfully, can complete the choice filling by October 29, 2022. The authority will conduct the CSAB 2022 counselling for filling the vacant seats in NITs, GFTIs and IIITs. Once the choice filling is done, the authority will release the CSAB special round 1 seat allotment on October 30, 2022, at the official website.

CSAB 2022 Registration: Instructions to Follow
While filling the CSAB 2022 registration, the candidates should follow the below-mentioned instructions-
- For fresh registration, the candidates should visit the official website- csab.nic.in
- To complete the CSAB registration, the candidates should enter the details like the JEE Main application number
- The candidates, who have completed the registration on the JoSAA portal, will not be valid for CSAB special rounds
- If the candidates' documents are not verified at the NIT+ system during JoSAA rounds, can update the state of eligibility, Nationality, Gender and category during the special round of CSAB registration
- If the documents of the candidates are verified at the JoSAA rounds and the category was converted from OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ GEN-EWS to GEN, then they can request to restore the category they had registered with (if they had re-acquired the valid certificates)
- After successful registration, the candidates should pay the enrollment fee using net banking/ debit card/ credit card or State Bank e-challan
- The candidates must note that the processing fee for CSAB counselling 2022 is Rs. 3,000 (non-refundable)
- The CSAB institution fee for the special round is Rs 38000 for GEN/ GEN-EWS/ OBC-NCL; whereas the fee is Rs 18000 for the SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
