Part 1 of the paper is designed to test the knowledge, application, and skills related to the basic syllabus concepts while Part 2 aims to test the candidate’s topic-specific knowledge. It will have eight questions, each of 12 marks, out of which only five are to be answered.

It shall be noted that the CISCE board has not provided any official weightage distribution and the above data are expected values as per the data derived from the previous question papers.
