JEE Main 2024 January 31 Shift 1 Exam Analysis:
Day 4 of Session 1 Joint Entrance Examination (Main) was conducted for Paper 1 (B.E/ B.Tech) exam today, Jan 31, 2024.
Overall, Day 4 Shift 1 was Moderate. The Mathematics section was calculative, out which 8 to 10 questions were doable. Chemistry was Easier compared to Physics and Chemistry. The Organic Chemistry weighatge was more than Inorganic Chemistry. Physics was Moderate and formulae-based. Overall, Shift 1 Jan 31 JEE Main 2024 Paper was balanced with most of the questions asked from NCERT.

As per candidates, the Day 4 Shift 1 exam observed questions from the depleted syllabus from Mathematics, which are Arithmetic Progression (AP) and Geometric Progression (GP).

JEE Main 2024 January 31 Shift 1 First Reactions
The first reactions of the candidates for the morning shift on 31 January 2024 will be updated here after the conclusion of the exam:
- Overall the Day 4 Shift 1 exam was Moderate.
- As per examinees, Mathematics was on a Moderate to Difficult level.
- In Physics about 3 to 4 questions were asked from Electrodynamics.
- Chemistry was easy overall compared to the other two subjects.
- On Day 4, in Section 1 Organic Chemistry and in Section 2 Organic Chemistry questions were asked.
- In Chemistry questions were found from NCERT syllabus.
- The major weightage in Chemistry was of Class 12th syllabus.
- Questions from Physical Chemistry on Day 4 were fewer. Those questions were formulae-based and a bit tricky.
- Like other days, questions in Mathematics were lengthy to solve.
- Candidates took more time in solving the Mathematics section.
- In Mathematics, 3 to 4 questions were easily doable.
- From Vector 3D 2 to 3 questions were asked.
- Questions from AP GP were asked which is not in the syllabus.
- 1 question from Mole concept was asked.
- 2 questions from Differential Equation were asked out of which 1 was easy and another one was calculative.
- Candidates in the upcoming examination shifts must focus on Formulas.
- In Physics questions from Lyman series were asked.
- As usual following the last exam days trend's Mathematics questions are calculative and lengthy. Therefore, candidates appearing in the next shifts must focus on time management.
