JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Exam Day Instructions: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has shared certain JEE Main 2024 Session 1 exam day guidelines for all candidates appearing for the exam starting on January 24, 2024. The students must follow the advisory issued by NTA while reporting to JEE Main 2024 exam centre on their exam day. According to the guidelines, NTA has warned the students not to indulge in any illegal/unfair means of examination practice that may lead to their disqualification from the national-level engineering entrance test. The students must follow these important instructions for the IIT-JEE Mains 2024 January examination to appear on the exam day.

The candidates are advised to visit the exam centre at least one day before the actual date of the exam. This will help them reach the exam centre on time on the date of JEE Main Session 1 examination. Each applicant must carry a printed copy of JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Admit Card along with the original photo ID card for identification on the exam day.
The candidates who have not registered through Digi Locker / ABC ID (or chose authentication through non-Aadhaar options) must visit the exam centre at least 1 hour before the exam time for biometric identification.
Candidates must come to the examination centre according to the Reporting Time mentioned in their hall tickets. Any candidate coming to the examination hall after the Gate closing time will not be allowed to enter.
The candidates are NOT allowed to carry any instrument/stationery/pencil box/handbag/electronic equipment/book/study material/electronic watch and any printed material into the JEE Main 2024 examination hall.
Each candidate has to write his/her name and roll number on the blank rough sheet that will be provided in the examination hall.
The candidates having diabetes will be allowed to carry transparent water bottles, sugar tablets, and fruits (like bananas, oranges, and apples). Although, chocolates, candies and other packaged sweeteners will not be allowed.
- No candidate will be allowed to talk/discuss anything with fellow candidates inside the examination hall. Any query must be taken in light with the exam invigilator only.
