Nisarg Chadha, Only Candidate from Gujarat to Secure 100 Percentile in JEE Main 2020

The JEE Main 2020 Gujarat topper Nisarg Chadha, who secured 100 percentile score in the JEE Main (Jan) exam, wants to take admission in the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore from where he wants to pursue research in Physics.

When the JEE Main 2020 result for the September session was released on 11th September 2020, Nisarg Chadha became the only candidate from the state of Gujarat to secure 100 percentile. He is one of the 24 candidates who breached the 100 percentile score in this year’s JEE Main exam. He also secured the first rank in the Gujarat state and second rank in the All India Rank (AIR) category. He did not appear in the JEE Main 2020 (September) exam and had already secured the 100 percentile score in the JEE Main 2020 (January) session exam.

Currently, Nisarg is preparing for the next all-important JEE Advanced 2020 exam which is scheduled to be conducted on 27th September 2020. He dreams of getting admission into the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore from where he wants to pursue research in Physics. He seems very focussed in achieving his dream and he does not want this euphoric feeling to distract him.

According to Nisarg’s mother Dr Amola, he has been harbouring the dream of cracking JEE from his class Xth days. Both his parents are doctors. Everyone at the Navrachana School, Sama, Vadodara are extremely happy and proud of Nisarg’s achievement.

The other toppers from the Gujarat state are Arya Anand (99.98 percentile and AIR - 31), Harshil Safi (99.78 percentile), Harsh Shah (99.997 percentile and AIR - 59), Niyati Mehta (99 percentile and AIR - 120) who have defied various odds and have successfully cleared the JEE Main 2020 exam. Now, all of them have their eyes set on their next goals.

A total of 38,100 candidates from Gujarat took the JEE Main 2020 (September) exam that was conducted between 01st September 2020 and 06th September 2020. The Paper-I was taken by a total of 35,198 candidates and 2,969 students appeared in the second paper. The exam was conducted in 32 centres situated in 13 districts across the state of Gujarat.
