JEE Main April session exam for 2023 has commenced in two shifts. Let's take a quick glance at the difficulty-level and topic-wise weightage of JEE Main Mathematics paper.

JEE Main 2023 April session exam has commenced from today onwards, 6th April. The exam will take place in two shifts- shift 1 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and shift 2 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Candidates will have to answer questions from all three subjects- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Each subject will put forth a challenge of 40 questions, split into two categories - 20 MCQ-based questions and the rest being subjective type. The maximum marks allotted for each section are 100, adding up to a grand total of 300 marks. The scoring scheme is simple, 4 marks will be awarded for every right answer, while an incorrect response will result in a penalty of 1 mark. JEE Main April session shift 1 exam has ended and here is the student review. The difficult level varied for each student, some said that the questions were difficult while the other said that it was moderate in nature. Compared to other subjects, it was pretty difficult. Questions from coordinate geometry were doable.

In comparison to the other two subjects, Mathematics was said to be the longest and toughest. Approximately 3 to 4 questions were direct, while some were very tricky.
