Candidates aspiring for admission under the OBC category through JEE Main 2024 must score a minimum of 98 percentile to secure admission in top NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. For the second category premier institutes, the required minimum percentile goes up to 95. Therefore, candidates of the OBC category who appeared for the Session 1 exam of JEE Main 2024 can appear for Session 2 as well to improve their percentile score and admission chances. The last date to register for the Session 2 exam is March 2, and the exam is scheduled to be conducted from April 3 to 15.
