JEE Main Physics Marks vs Percentile January 2024: The subject-wise percentile in JEE Main 2024 differs based on the difficulty level of the paper. In the previous year in both sessions 1 and 2, Physics was the moderate subject and hence, more than 87 marks on average out of 100 marks were required to score 99.5+ percentile. The same for the tougher subject of Mathematics was only at 60+ marks. Hence, if the average difficulty level of JEE Main Physics 2024 increases this year, fewer marks are likely to be required to score the same percentile. The analysis for JEE Main marks vs percentile for physics subject given here is as per that of the previous year all shifts and sessions only.

While referring to the table above, it shall be noted that these values are subject to change depending on, as stated earlier, the difficulty level of the JEE Main Physics 2024 subject and the overall performance of the students in it. Students shall refer to these values to get an approximate idea of what their expected percentile in the subject can be.

It is also important to note that an average of percentiles of all three subjects will not be the overall percentile. The subject-wise and overall percentiles are calculated separately and therefore, these may or may not average out to give the overall percentile.
