JEE Main Question Paper 12 April 2023 Shift 1: Day 5 and Shift 1 of JEE Main 2023 was conducted on April 12 from 9 AM to 12 PM. The overall paper was once again rated to be 'Moderate' but in this shift, Maths was said to be very tough, not so lengthy but rather tough. Students called Physics to be the easiest section, as it is being followed throughout all shifts and even for the previous session while Chemistry was classified as moderate. The memory-based JEE Main Question Paper for 12 April 2023 Shift 1 can be checked and downloaded here. JEE Main 2023 April 12 exam memory-based questions are collected from different coaching institutes and students. JEE Main response sheet date 2023 Session 2 is expected to be released one day after the exam. JEE Main result date 2023 Session 2 is expected to be April 21.

  1. A body is in an SHM with an amplitude A. When it is at +x = A/2, find the ratio of the kinetic energy to potential energy.
  2. A circular ring is placed in a magnetic field of 0.4 T. Suddenly, its radius starts shrinking at the rate of 1 mm/s. Find the induced emf in the ring at r = 2 cm.
  3. A dipole having dipole moment M is placed in two magnetic fields of strength B 1 and B 2 respectively. If the dipole oscillates 60 times in 20 seconds in B 1 magnetic field and 60 oscillations in 30 seconds in B 2 magnetic field. Find B 1 /B 2 .
  4. A particle is thrown vertically upward with an initial velocity of 150 m/s. Find the ratio of its speed at t = 3 seconds and t = 5 seconds. (Assume g = 10m/s 2 )
  5. A photon of energy 12.75 eV falls on an H-atom. Find out the number of spectral lines observed.
  6. A uniform sphere is rolling without slipping on a horizontal surface. The ratio of translational kinetic energy to the total kinetic energy is 5/x. Find x.
  7. Assertion (A): An electric dipole is enclosed in a closed Gaussian surface. The total flux through the enclosed surface is zero.
    Reason (R): Net charge inside the enclosed surface is zero.
  8. Assuming Newton's law of cooling to be valid, an object cools down from 80°C to 60°C in 5 minutes in a surrounding of temperature 20°C. What will be the time taken by the object to cool from 60°C to 40°C?

    Statement I: In an LCR circuit, by increasing frequency, the current increases first and then decreases.

  14. If 64 identical balls made of conducting material, each having potential of 10 mV, are joined to form a bigger ball, then what will be the potential of the bigger ball in volts?
  15. If a body of mass 5 kg is in equilibrium due to forces F 1 , F 2 and F 3 where F 2 and F 3 are perpendicular to each other. If F 1 is removed then find the acceleration of the body. Assume F 2 = 6N and F 3 = 8N.
