JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Exam Date: The National Testing Agency, the organising authority for Joint Entrance Examination Mains (IIT-JEE Mains 2024) has conveyed through a press release the revision of JEE Main Session 2 2024 examination schedule. The decision has been taken after considering the clash of dates with the CBSE Board 2024 examination scheduled during the same time. The students and the parents are advised to follow up with NTA to know the new examination dates. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 will now commence on April 3, 2024 instead of the earlier date of April 1, 2024.

However, the JEE Mains Session 1 2024 exam schedule will be followed as decided without any change. NTA will commence session 1 of the national entrance examination for engineering from January 24, 2024 onwards. The last test of JEE Mains 2024 Session 1 exam is scheduled to be February 1, 2024.

JEE Main Session 2 2024 Exam Date Revised

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) requested NTA to shift some dates of the session 2 exams to avoid a clash between board exams. The board released the Class 12 Date Sheet 2024 with the last exam scheduled for April 2, 2024 for Information Practices. However, as per the schedule of IIT JEE Main 2024 Session 2 examination, the first paper was scheduled for April 1.

The NTA has considered the request and finally agreed to shift the clashing dates. In a recent press conference, Subodh Singh, Direct General (NTA) shared that the second session of IIT JEE Mains Exam will now begin on April 3, 2024, which was earlier scheduled from April 1 to 15, 2024. The detailed exam date sheet and other information will be shared by NTA after the conclusion of the Session 1 exam.
