On the other hand, the committee constituted by JNU VC was opposed by former General Secretary of JNU Students’ Union , Satarupa Chakraborthy. He alleged that the 12-member committee does not have a representative from JNU Teachers’ Association and JNU Students’ Union. A decision regarding the implementation of online entrance exam must be taken only after holding proper consultations and taking necessary recommendations into consideration from teachers and students’ union.
The 12-member committee is headed by Professor Deepak Gaur. Director of Communication and Information Services (CIS), Mr. Sanjeev Kumar will hold the position of Member Secretary in the committee.
