However, as per the notice on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, the release of the mock allotment has been postponed as the deadline for the exercise of option preferences has been extended to January 20, 2024, until 11 AM.
The mock seat allotment for Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2024 will give the candidates an idea about the tentative seat allotments based on their ranks and their web options submitted by the deadline. The students will also get the chance to edit their preferences if they need to after the release of the mock allotment. The deadline for editing preferences post the mock allocation is up to 11 AM on January 20, 2024.

The candidates have to check the mock seat allotment results for Karnataka PGCET exam from the official website only. Here are the important steps to check:
Step 1: Follow the PGCET official website shared above.
Step 2: Select the link mentioning ‘Postgraduate CET Mock Seat Allotment Result-2023’ on the homepage.
Step 3: Provide the PGCET application number and password on the login page to proceed.
Step 4: The mock allotment based on the web options submitted by applicants will appear in the form of a list.
Step 5: The candidates can search their roll numbers from the list of allotments.
What After Karnataka PGCET 2023 Mock Allotment Result?
As said earlier, the allotment is only provisional and will not affect the final allotment list. However, the candidates are allowed to change/edit their preferences if they are not satisfied with the mock allotment. The last date to submit web options is January 20, 2024. KEA will consider the corrected web options for actual allotment.
