The admission process for MBBS/ BDS courses in Kerala for all categories including NRI quota in private medical and dental colleges will be done through a common counselling by Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala. The counselling/ admission process for the private medical and dental colleges will be included in the second round counselling that will take place from August 8 to August 19, 2017.

According to the instructions of CEE Kerala, the candidates who are applying for 15% seats in private medical and dental colleges under NRI quota must submit the self-attested copies of the below-mentioned documents as proof for the claim:
- Relation Certificate of Sponsor (to be issued by Revenue Authorities)
- Overseas Employment Certificate (issued by the employer), and it must have the attestation of Embassy
- Visa and Passport stamped on it with the attestation of the Embassy
- A self-affidavit that confirms the relationship between the sponsor and student

NRI candidates must fill the application form from the official website of Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala. There is a separate link specifically for the NRI candidates on the official website. After submitting the online application, the candidates must take the print out of the application, affix the above-mentioned self-attested documents and forward it to the prescribed address by post on or before the stipulated date.
