The Maha TET 2024 exam is structured into two comprehensive papers, each meticulously designed to last two and a half hours. Paper 1 encompasses five distinct subjects: Language 1, Child Pedagogy & Development, Mathematics, Language 2, and Environmental Studies. Each subject includes 30 carefully crafted questions, each carrying a weight of 1 mark, for a total of 150 marks available in this section.

Paper 2 mirrors this structure, covering a similar array of subjects: Language 1, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Child Pedagogy & Development, and Language 2. Again, each subject comprises 30 questions, culminating in another 150 marks.  Importantly, there is no negative marking implemented for either paper, allowing candidates to attempt all questions without the fear of penalties for incorrect answers.
