Maharashtra HSC Blueprint 2023: The total weightage of the chemistry subject is divided as 70 marks for the theory paper and 30 marks for the practical exam. As per the guidelines given by the Maharashtra board, the weightage given to numerical questions in the Chemistry paper must be between the maximum limit of 12 to 15 marks. However, it is divided such that each section has at least one numerical.
There are a total of 4 sections from A to D, assigned as per the marks of the questions. Section A contains 1 mark MCQ and VSA questions; Section B and Section C contain 2 marks and 3 marks SA questions respectively, and Section D has LA questions of 4 marks.
Do note that log tables and the values of important physical consonants will be provided. For MCQs, only the first attempt in serial order will be evaluated. The answer to MCQs must be written only as option number and option description. The question must not be repeated.
