MHRD has formed a committee comprising DG NTA and education experts to submit a report on conducting JEE Main 2020 exam . The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted from September 01 to 06, 2020. Most of the students, parents and academicians across the country have been demanding the postponement of the entrance exam, which was earlier scheduled from July 18 to 23, 2020. In order to make a final decision on the exam date, MHRD has formed a committee, and it has submitted its report on July 03, 2020.

What to Expect from MHRD & NTA Committee’s Report?
The committee will study the possibilities of conducting the entrance exam based on the opinions received from parents, students, academicians and stakeholders. In the current scenario, conducting entrance exam from July 18, 2020, may not be possible as student safety will be a bigger concern. Therefore, an announcement on the postponement of the entrance exam can be expected. Candidates are advised to wait for the final confirmation.
Is there any chance for the Cancellation of JEE Main 2020?
There is no chance for the cancellation of JEE Main 2020 exam . It is an important exam for admission in IITs & NITs. Class 12 th marks can’t be the criteria for the admission. The exam may get postponed but not cancelled.
Uncertainty on JEE Main exam has been affecting the serious aspirants who have been preparing for the exam for six months to one year. Some of the state-level engineering entrance exams such as TS EAMCET and MHT CET have already been postponed.
