MHT CET Question Paper 10 May 2023: Day 2 of MHT CET 2023 has been conducted on May 10, the shift 1 and 2 memory-based questions with solutions are being added here. There are a total of 150 questions in MHT CET 2023 question paper, divided equally into three subjects. Physics and Chemistry have 1 mark per question while Mathematics has 2 marks per question. Candidates who are scheduled to appear for the upcoming shifts may refer to the following questions as practice. The question paper analysis may also be referred to so as to understand the expected difficulty level of the paper.

  • Find the coordinates of the point where the line through A (9, 4, 1) and B (5, 1, 6) crosses X axis.

  • If ax + by + c = 0 is normal to xy = 1, then determine if a and b are less than, greater than, or equal to zero.
  • If a matrix A = [ (1   m   2) (1   2   2) (1   3   3)] is adjoint of matrix B and | B | = 5, then find the value of m.
  • f(x) = 2x - 3, g(x) = x 3 + 5, then find [fog] -1 (-9) = ?
  • Out of five siblings, what is the probability that the eldest and youngest children have the same gender?
  • ∫ (1/(sinx + cosx)) dx = ?
  • Find θ if sinθ + sin4θ + sin7θ = 0 and θ belongs to (0, π).
  • Find the area bounded by the curve y = (49 - x 2 ) 1/2 and x-axis.
  • A (2,1,0), B (4,1,1), C (5,0,1), and P (2,1,6) are four given points, then find the image of P in plane ABC.
  • When two coins are tossed, a person wins Rs 5 if two heads appears, Rs 2 if one head appears, and Rs 1 if no head appears. Find variance.

  • Identify the one differentiating characteristic between the Homoleptic complex and the Heteroleptic complex.
  • Identify the product question on Sandmeyer/Gattermann/Balz-Schiemann reactions (any one).
  • Match the type of linkage with their respective compound.
  • Find the EAN of [Co(NH 3 ) 6 ] 2+ .
  • If the initial volume of gas is 3 dm 3 at T = 300K. At constant temperature, if the volume is doubled, then find the new pressure.
  • Find molarity for the given conditions.

  • The radius of a cylinder is increasing at the rate 2 cm/sec and its height is decreasing at the rate 3 cm/sec, then find the rate of change of volume when the radius is 3cm and the height is 5 cm.
  • The area spherical balloon of radius 6 cm increases at the rate of 2 then find the rate of increase in the volume.
  • Find the surface tension at critical velocity.

Chemistry

  • In a certain culture of bacteria the rate of increase is proportional to the no.of bacteria present at that instant it is found that there are 10000 bacteria present in 3 hours and 40000 bacteria at the 5 hours the number of bacteria present in the beginning is?
  • Edge length of a unit cell of a crystal is 288 pm. If its density is 7.2 g/cm 3 , then determine the type of unit cell assuming mass = 52 g.
  • For the given conditions, calculate the osmotic pressure.
