CoA introduces Changes in NATA 2024 Pattern and Syllabus

NATA 2024 Syllabus and Pattern Revised: The Council of Architecture (CoA), in its detailed notification for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2024, has revised the exam pattern for the upcoming exam. In the detailed syllabus shared, CoA has confirmed to examine two separate parts i.e., Part A and Part B of 80 marks and 120 marks respectively. NATA 2024 Revised Exam Pattern

The examination will consist of two parts i.e. Part A for one and a half hours and Part B for one and half hours as well. Check the detailed NATA 2024 exam pattern in the table shared below:

Part A (90 Minutes) - Drawing and Composition Test

  • A1 - Composition and Color (25 Marks)
  • A2 - Sketching and Composition (Black and White) - 25 Marks
  • A3 - 3D Composition - 30 Marks
  • Total 80 Marks

Part B (90 Minutes) - MCQ (Computer Based Test)

  1. B1 - 30 Questions x 2 = 60 Marks
  2. B2 - 15 Questions x 4 = 60 Marks
  3. Total 120 MCQs

NATA 2024 Revised Syllabus

The Council of Architecture will examine on April 6, 2024. The section-wise syllabus for NATA 2024 examination has been shared below:

For Part A -

  • A1 - Composition and Color - Creating suitable colours and creating simple colours. Recolouring and rearranging various shapes
  • A2 - Ability to draw, visualise, and invoke buildings / their components and colour it suitably
  • A3 - Creating 3-D Composition

For Part B -

  • Visual Reasoning
  • Logical Derivation
  • G.K. Architecture & Design
  • Language Interpretation
  • Design Sensitivity
  • Design Thinking
  • Numerical Ability

All authorities will examine only two languages - English and Hindi. The exam will be held in two separate shifts. Morning and Afternoon.
