The NEET 2022 exam was conducted by NTA on July 17 between 2:00 PM and 5:20 PM. The exam, which was held in a pen-and-paper mode, witnessed over 18 lakh aspirants taking the test. One crucial subject in the NTA NEET exam is Physics, which is often dreaded by students. NEET 2022 Physics Question Paper Analysis: Marking Scheme

The NEET 2022 Physics question paper had two sections – Section A comprising 35 questions and Section B consisting of 15 questions, out of which, 10 questions had to be attempted. Each correct answer fetched the candidate +4 marks while each wrong answer got them a -1 mark. For each question left unattempted, no marks was allotted. Thus, the total marks allotted to the Physics section of the NEET 2022 paper is 180.

NEET 2022 Physics Paper Analysis: Important Highlights (Reaction of Examinees)

Over the past years, the Physics section of the NTA NEET exam has been the most challenging of all subjects for students. Basis this year’s review, NEET 2022 Physics paper difficult with most chapters being based on numerical problems than theories. The section was quite time-consuming for many candidates. However, students also stated that the questions were designed as per the NEET syllabus. As per students, the chapters carrying the maximum weightage included Optics, Electrostatics, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Current Electricity etc.

Going by the NEET 2022 Physics question paper analysis, it can be concluded that 23 out of 50 questions were easy to solve, 21 were somewhat difficult, and 6 were difficult and challenging for the students.
