NEET 2024 Exam Date:
The National Testing Agency has released the NEET 2024 exam date on the official website-
neet.nta.nic.in.
As per the schedule, the NEET 2024 exam will be held on 5th May 2023 in the offline mode (a pen and paper-based exam). Authorities will soon be releasing the official registration dates for the NEET UG exam 2024. The candidates, who have completed class 10+2 or equivalent exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as the core subjects from any recognized board and who have completed 17 years, are eligible to apply for the NEET 2024 exam. Note, the candidates, who have appeared for Class 12 or the final year students can also apply for the NEET 2024 exam.

NEET UG 2024: Exam Pattern
The candidates, who will be appearing for the NEET 2024 exam, should refer to the NEET 2024 exam pattern here in the following table:
- NEET UG 2024 exam will take place solely in the offline mode. Hence, the candidates will be provided an OMR sheet for marking the answers with a blue or black ink ballpoint pen
- Total duration of time: 3 hours 20 minutes
- The candidates will be eligible to answer the questions in any of the languages, such as English, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Oriya and Urdu
- Type of the questions will be MCQs in nature
- The candidates will get a total of 200 questions. Among them, they have to answer a total of 180 questions for 720 marks in the NEET UG 2024 exam

- +4 will be awarded for every correct answer
- -1 will be deducted for every incorrect answer
- For unattempted questions, the candidates will get no marks
