NIFT has declared the results of lateral Entry Admission on its official website. NLEA results for Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech) and Bachelor of Design (BDes) courses have been announced.
Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results on the website buy simply entering two of the following fields: roll number, date of birth and application number.
In order to get seats in BDes courses offered at various NIFT campuses, applicants had qualify a written entrance exam followed by a Situation Test. However, students seeking admission to MDes course were also required to appear for a GD/PI round, once they had cleared the NIFT entrance exam.
Candidates who applied for BFTech course are selected basis their performance in NIFT GAT paper only whereas for admission to MFTech and MFM courses written test as well as GD/PI is mandatory.
Candidates who have qualified both the rounds and made it to the merit list of NIFT Lateral Entry Admissions 2016 (NLEA 2016) will have to appear for counselling process to freeze their seats in either Bachelor of Design (BDes) as well as Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech) programmed in any of the NIFT campuses.
Final result were declared on June 21 2016 for admission in design programmes offered at NIFT campuses.
NIFT lateral entry admission policy allows students to get admission in second year of UG design programmes offered at NIFT once they have cleared a written exam, studio test, and personal interview round.
