National Testing Agency (NTA), which has set up 2697 practice centres for JEE Main, NEET, UGC NET etc., has made a vital announcement. As per NTA, the practice centres started operating from September 08, 2018 . The registrations for students to practice JEE Mains , NEET and UGC NET mock tests started on the official website of NTA from September 01, 2018 . NTA is yet to upload the complete list of NTA test centres on its official website. NTA aims to establish 3000 NTA practice centres for students to practice JEE Main, NEET and UGC NET mock test.
How to Register for NTA JEE Main and UGC NET Mock Tests?
Students must follow the steps mentioned below to register for NTA JEE Main and UGC NET mock tests: -
- Visit the official website of NTA.
- On the homepage of NTA, click on 'Student Registration (for mock test) Link'.
- A new page will open.
- Click on the link that indicates 'Mobile Number Login'.
- Enter the Mobile Number and Click on 'Login'.
- NTA will send an OTP (One Time Password) to your mobile.
- Enter the OTP and click on 'Verify'.
- Enter all the details carefully and upload the password size photograph and ID Proof.
- Click on Next.
- Enter the Contact Details followed by Academic Details and Exam Detail.
- Choose the practice centre in the last step.
- Complete the registration
- When Admit cards are available for download, candidates will be intimated & can login and download NTA JEE Main and UGC NET Mock Tests
As per sources, NTA practice test centres are functional between 2:00 pm & 4:00 pm on weekdays (Monday - Friday) and between 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Saturdays, Sundays & other holidays . The agency is also looking forward to facilitating the practice centres on weekdays. Candidates can visit these test practice centers and train themselves on using the online mode of examination free of cost . NTA has invited applications from the interested schools, organisations and agencies to register as NTA practice test centres. NTA will upload the complete list of practice test centres after finalising the agreement with applicant schools, organisations and agencies.

NTA will distribute funds to the practice test centres for conducting mock tests for several conducts conducted by NTA. These centres will initially conduct mock tests for JEE and UGC NET. The official confirmation on NEET mock tests is awaited, as the government planned to conduct NEET-UG 2019 in pen and paper mode.
