As soon as the ranks were declared obviously the name of the toppers started echoing. The topper of JEE Main is Dipanshu Jindal and a student named
Pratyush Maini
stood second.
Pratyush earned this position by scoring 320 marks out of 360 marks he is a 17-year-old old from Gurgaon now Gurugram.
Pratyush is a DAV Public School in Sector 14 pass out, who took coaching from FIITJEE, Gurgaon stood 1st in science stream in Class in his twelfth Central Board of Senior Education (CBSE) examinations with a percentage of 98.2.
Pratyush now wishes to take admission in a good IIT-Indian Institute of Technology and to study electrical engineering there.
In an interview, he said that It was very important for him to score well in the JEE (mains) as he wants to do research under renowned professors. Pratyush worked very hard, attended every class, studied for five hours a day and it was all worth it.
He also said in that interview that he believes in education rather than degree. His main focus was always understanding concepts.
Pratyush is a true all-rounder, he is a sports enthusiast and plays tennis in his free time. He also plays keyboard to de-stress.
When he was asked about his parents he said, “My parents never stopped me from learning and having fun. They also say one must follow one’s passion. This is my mantra in life.”
The future looks bright for this all-rounder.
