University and Petroleum and Engineering Studies (UPES) conducts U-PAT examination every year for the admission to Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) course. The details about selection and counselling process after U-PAT are given below.
Selection Process: -
UPES has three ways to select the candidates for B.Arch course: -
- U-PAT score
- JEE (Main) score
- NATA score
U-PAT score: - The selection is based on the score secured by the candidates in U-PAT examination. However, they need to have 50% of marks in +2.
JEE (Main) score: - The candidates who have qualified JEE (Mains) need not take U-PAT entrance exam. The names of the candidates will be shortlisted as per the marks they score in JEE (Mains) and performance in Class 12.
NATA: - The names of the candidates will be shortlisted as per the score they secure in NATA examination. However, previous academic performance will also be taken into consideration.
Counselling Process: -
- The shortlisted candidates have to attend the counselling process on stipulated date and time.
- Separate counselling will be conducted for U-PAT, JEE (Mains) and NATA candidates.
- The candidates need to attend the counselling will all the required documents.
