The Staff Selection Commission will be issuing notification for Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) 2016 only after the modalities for the Computer Based Examination Mode is finalized.

The notification was initially expected to release on 2-July-2016 . The commission said that they are in the process of finalizing the modalities to conduct the examination. Lakhs of students who have completed their +2 are eagerly waiting for the notification. The examination is conducted to fill up the vacant positions of Data Entry Operator (DEO), Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) and Postal assistants or Sorting Assistants.
Last year, the notification was released on 13-June-2015 . The notification was issued to fill up 3,523 Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant posts as well as 2,049 LDC posts and 1,006 DEO posts.
The candidates who are going to appear test for the post of DEO have to qualify a written examination followed by a skill test. The written examination is conducted for 200 marks. The candidates applying for the position of Postal Assistants and LDCs have to take a written examination on the computer, followed by a typing test. The candidates will qualify only if he/she masters in the written and skill/ typing test.
The commission hasn’t declared the results of CHSL 2015 examination. The commission initially announced that the results will be declared on 22-July-2016 . The candidates are eagerly waiting for the results. The candidates must visit the official website regularly, for latest updates on results.
