The first year UG students of Vaagdevi Degree College secured outstanding marks in the UG 1 st year results released by Acharya Nagarjuna University. The college management conducted a press meet to congratulate the students. Principal of the college, Mr. Suresh Babu gave the analysis of the results.
He said, “An overall pass percentage of 82 have been recorded in the first year UG results . Students of all the departments performed well and secured outstanding marks. The academic year for second year students have been already commenced and the college is working consistently to improve the pass percentage and placement percentage”.
Toppers of the college:-
- J Naga Leela and B Ashok Reddy of BSc (MPC) secured 97.8% and stood as the toppers of the college.
- Y Naga Lakshmi secured 95% and stood in the second place.
- M Uma Devi BSc (MPCS) secured 94% and stood as the topper of the department.
- SK Shareen Unissa of BSc (MECS) secured 92% and stood as the topper of the department.
- M. Vanitha of BZC secured 91% and stood as the topper of the department.
- K Vaishnavi of B.Com Computers secured 89% and stood as the topper of the department.
The students were congratulated by the college management and faculty members. Students thanked the college management for their motivation and support.
