How TANCET 2024 Rank List been formulated?

To formulate the rank list, the conducting authorities arranged the scores obtained by the TANCET qualifiers into the descending order of merit, after normalizing it to percentile score. In order words, the name of the candidate who has achieved the highest score is placed at the top, and the last name is of the candidate who scores the least. The community rank provided is based on the TANCET score achieved by the candidates in his/her community. For candidates who secured equal marks, DTE prioritized the candidate with a higher average mark percentage from the first semester/year over the other. If the tie remained, then the older candidate was given the next rank. The candidate’s age was verified in the SSLC certificate before the list was created.
