An MBA student filed a case againstController of examination of RTMNU Nagpur University for the lapses on their part.
Rohit Bagde Rohit who appeared for Second Semester exam in 2015 winter but when the result of the exam was declared, Rohit failed in “Qualitative Analysis” subject. Then he applied to the RTMNU for reexamination of the answer paper . After getting copy of his answer paper from university he found that all answers of the questions were not at all checked.
When he complaint to controller of examination department he did not get any positive response. Then he moved to High Court for justice.
The hearing was held before Justice Bhushan Gavai and Justice Pradeep Deshmukh. The judges directed the Controller of Examinations Dr Niraj Khati to appear before them personally.
Dr Khati, as directed, appeared in the court and accepted the mistakes on the part of the Examinations Department.Judges express their disappointment and the Court directed the RTMNU to get the answer paper of the concerned student rechecked by two experts and submit the report to the court by February 25.
" Such type of mistakes should be avoided by University as it’s ruining the student’s career and reputation of Nagpur university. Our students study hard for examinations and if their written answers are not checked then to whom they should complain?" questions parents of some students.
